Bruno Fernandes is facing five key days at Manchester United
Manchester United have been left licking their wounds after defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds had the chances in North London and on another day could have scored two or three but were left to rue their missed opportunities as Spurs snatched the points. Afterwards, as has become tradition, Roy Keane put the boot in on the team.
Christening United as the 'new Spurs', Keane reserved specific criticism for Bruno Fernandes. The former captain told Sky Sports: "When I look at [Mason] Mount and Fernandes, out of possession they look like schoolboys.

"They haven't got the physicality to get the ball back. We make excuses all the time for them, we’re told [Erik] Ten Hag is a brilliant coach but we need to see it.
"They looked flat here. I'd like to know what they're doing on the training pitch. Are they over-training? They don’t look full of energy."
Ironically, despite his criticism, Fernandes will need to channel his inner Keane at Carrington this week. Similarly to this time last year, all eyes are firmly on United following their sub-par start to the season..
Once again, questions are being asked about the desire and quality of the players. Heads in the camp will have dropped but the task is not solely Ten Hag's to lift them.
The Dutchman will be looking to Fernandes to show why he was right to install the Portuguese midfielder as the club's captain. Arguably, this will be his biggest challenge since taking on the role.
