Broxburn Athletic ace aiming to get one over Nairn County three years after missing defeat

Work commitments kept Broxburn Athletic winger Ross Nimmo out of the tie when they exited the Scottish Cup first round at the hands of Nairn County three years ago.

The Brox were edged out on Boxing Day in the Highlands on that occasion in a tie that went to penalties following a goalless draw. Greg Binnie had a seemingly perfect goal ruled out in the final stages, while the Brox saw keeper Connor Wallace and striker Gary Brass hospitalised.

“You expect a tough game and a battle regardless of who you’re playing or what league they’re in and Saturday won’t be any different. It will be a case of rolling our sleeves up and if we do that I’d like to think we’ll have enough about us to get the job done.”

He added: “That cup run a few years ago was incredible for the club. It gave us a massive boost
