Blitzboks to feature in News24 Forward Faster Invitational Sevens Series

The Blitzboks will take part in the inaugural News24 Forward Faster Invitational Sevens set in Stellenbosch.

The two-day tournament brings together rugby enthusiasts and fans and will take place at the iconic Paul Roos Markötter Fields on 28-29 October.

Spectators can look forward to some top-tier rugby entertainment, which is headlined by the Springbok Sevens side.

The Blitzboks, who are the reigning Commonwealth Games champions, will be in action as they look to set a solid platform and foundation for the upcoming HSBC SVNS Series in December.

The gates will be open from 09:00, allowing fans to soak in the excitement throughout the day.

Customer Success Manager at Media24 Madelein Venter emphasised the significance of this collaboration.

Former Springbok scrumhalf, Neil de Kock, who is also Chief Executive Officer at Stellenbosch Academy of Sport (SAS), shared his excitement for the tournament.

De Kock, who played 250 matches for Saracens after representing the Western Province in 101 first-class matches, believes that through tournaments of this nature, talent can be "unearthed and nurtured".
