Brock Purdy Gets His Ring - By Marrying His Fiancé, Jenna Brandt

Brock Purdy may not have ended the season with a ring from Super Bowl 58, but he got a far more important one on Saturday.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback officially got married to his fiancée, Jenna Brandt (now Purdy), after being engaged for roughly a year. Over 350 people attended the event in Des Moines, IA, the state that both Purdys are originally from.

Naturally, the new Mrs. Purdy posted a heartwarming tribute celebrating the wonderful event. Both the bride and groom looked incredible and thoroughly overjoyed to begin life with each other.

The happy couple met while they were both athletes at Iowa State. Brock was the quarterback for the Cyclones football team, and Jenna played setter for the women’s volleyball team. No one knows with 100 percent certainty how the couple first met, but they both went to Iowa State as freshmen in 2018.

Jenna eventually transferred to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, but the couple remained together even after she transferred (where she continued her volleyball career). In 2023, they officially got engaged.

The wedding comes just under one month after San Francisco fell short to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, losing 25-22. He posted photos from the game on his Instagram, saying his team should take pride in what they did during the year.

Even after the loss, Jenna put her priorities on supporting Brock and encouraged him for the excellent year he had.

"What a year. Love you my boy," she said.

After officially tying the knot, she'll finally be able to give her husband a good excuse to move out of his apartment that he had to share with an offensive lineman. I think Brock will welcome that new arrangement for a lot of reasons.
