UFC London went down on Saturday night and in the eyes of many, it was one of the best events the promotion has put on in years with a parade of British stars making an impact at the O2 Arena.

From the early prelims all the way through to the main card we got to see some rising prospects alongside a host of veterans – all of whom were able to put on a real show in the capital.

It lived up to the hype and then some with all the pieces falling into place, just as fans would’ve wanted.

Today, we’re going to take a look at five things we learned from an evening full of action.

Within the context of UFC heavyweights, it’s hard to imagine anyone being as fast or as composed as Tom Aspinall.

In one of the most impressive displays of the night, Aspinall took less than one round to take Alexander Volkov apart and submit him. The youngster didn’t rush, landed some nice shots and became just the fifth man to finish ‘Drago’.
