British Grand Prix odds and tips: Ferrari's Charles Leclerc value to win Silverstone showpiece

Mercedes have dominated the British Grand Prix in recent years, winning eight of the last ten but it is going to take something extraordinary for either Lewis Hamilton or George Russell to hit top spot in 2022.

Hamilton has won eight British Grand Prix's in all but his last two have been a little fortunate, notably in 2021 when he took out Max Verstappen on the first lap. The Mercedes cars have not been competitive this season - indeed they sit only third in the constructor standings and a scheduled package of upgrades for this race will surely not be enough to bring them to the party.

Red Bull have dominated the F1 season so far, winning the last six races and seven of the nine in total. A new power unit should provide Leclerc with not only more
