"Brilliant player" - Reporter says "complete" £59m Man Utd target "ready" for Old Trafford move

Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is ‘ready’ to seal a move to Old Trafford when the transfer window opens for business next month, according to journalist Conor Clancy.

Erik ten Hag has moved into the Red Devils’ hot seat and could make Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic his first signing since heading to the Premier League.

Manchester United are understood to be leading the race for Milinkovic-Savic’s signature as his agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, has revealed the Lazio man’s preferred destination is Old Trafford.

But Kezman has hinted there could be even more suitors than Manchester United and PSG as he admitted ‘Sergej has no shortage of offers for the summer transfer window’.

Milinkovic-Savic is set to enter the final two years of his £75,000-per-week contract at Lazio, meaning his current employers are in a strong negotiating position.

Clancy told GIVEMESPORT: “I think he’s been ready for that move for maybe three years. I remember last time they had their title push, which was the year that was interrupted by Covid – the 2019/20 campaign – and he
