Brilliant Ben Doak has fans swooning as deadly Scotland double act on fire for Middlesbrough
Young Ben Doak is red hot right now - just ask the Hull City backline.
As weeks roll on, the plaudits roll in for the Middlesborough winger on loan from Liverpool. And following the 19-year-old's two assists against The Tigers, finished off by fellow Scot Tommy Conway, fans can't help themselves but heap praise on the teen over social media. The electric winger dinked a cross to the far post before Conway deftly headed a looping effort over Ivor Pandur to make it 2-0 at the Riverside.
In the second half he sized up full back Ryan Giles before teeing up his striker buddy. Conway set himself up for a fine strike to complete his brace and grab his eighth goal of the EFL Championship season. The 3-1 victory spearheaded by the Scottish duo has helped keep Michael Carrick's men on the promotion play-off hunt in fifth place. And their performance was lauded on social media.

LFCMinty beamed: "Ben Doak, take a bow."
Josh Bunting waxed lyrical adding: "Ben Doak is a special player, so good on the ball. Very tricky on the ball and difficult to tackle. Just so technical but has that little bit of an aggressive nature that top players need as well. Really impressing for Middlesbrough yet again. Movement is so smart."
A delighted Anfield Edition post on X said: "Another two assists for Ben Doak today against Middlesbrough. He is flying"
