Brennan Johnson sent realistic Nottingham Forest message as contract talks revealed

Nottingham Forest supporters are pleased that the club are being active in their attempts to convince Brennan Johnson to sign a contract extension in the East Midlands.

Johnson's father, and former Reds striker, David, has revealed to the Garibaldi Red podcast that a "very good chat" took place with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis in London last week about the 20-year-old's future at the City Ground.

I think, either way, it
