Confident Brendan Rodgers believes Rangers will be dealing with the best version of Celtic as he counts down the minutes to a title blockbuster for the ages.
The Parkhead boss is full of belief in his team as he addressed the monumental game – days after his vow to "have fun" set off rival boss Philippe Clement who accused the Irishman of lacking respect over the pledge. But the 51-year-old is adamant his focus is on his own team and he believes the keys to victory lie on the training pitch. Celtic will all-but guarantee a 12th title in 13 seasons if they down Rangers at Parkhead with the world watching.
Speaking to Celtic TV, the Parkhead boss said: "It was a very good performance, I felt in the game. We came through it really well. We'll have a good preparation this week and really look forward to the game. It's important each day to just look after the details in the game. Focusing on our own performance. "I said it before, after the last time we played at Ibrox, this game was going to be crucial for us playing in front of our own supporters. I still feel exactly the same.
