Brendan Rodgers sees Leicester feud reignited as star admits he STILL doesn't get Celtic boss' 'twin brother' barb

Leicester City defender Jannik Vestergaard still doesn't know what Brendan Rodgers meant when he made his "twin brother" comment.

The Danish defender gave an interview earlier this year saying his exile from a then Rodgers-led Leicester side was "strange" and that the 30-year-old had not been given a reason for not starting a Premier League game under the Irishman for over a year. Vestergaard was signed by Rodgers in the summer of 2021 from Southampton and was pressed in a podcast interview about the struggles he faced since making the switch from the Saints. He reckons he's overcome a lot of "challenges" and still doesn't quite understand what the now Celtic boss was getting at with his comments in the media.

"You can ask questions, that is your job. I did hear it (twin brother claim) I didn't know and don't know exactly what it means. I don't have anything to say about anything that happened in the past with people no longer at the club. I have no intention of talking about it. I can only again reiterate how happy I am, where we are as a club and what we are hopefully moving
