BREAKING: Police make second arrest in Moss Side murder investigation
Detectives investigating the murder of a 22-year-old graduate in Moss Side have made a second arrest.
A murder probe was launched following the death of Badri Issa on Moss Lane East last Wednesday (October 25). He was rushed to hospital from the scene with a serious stab wound after his friend alerted the emergency services but tragically, he died.
Police believe a 'disturbance' had previously taken place between Mr Issa, his friend and two men. The two men fled the scene in a car.

Yesterday (Sunday), a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice as part of the murder investigation. He remains in custody to be questioned by detectives, police said.
A 21-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of murder. The Manchester Evening News understands he remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Naismith of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: "We are still in the early stages of our enquiries, but this arrest is a huge step in our murder investigation and will help to progress our understanding into the moments leading up to Badri’s death.
"We are continuing to appeal for any information, especially any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage you may have from Wednesday 25 October, please get in touch with us and know that any information will be dealt with the strictest of confidence. We understand that coming forward with information is nerve wracking, but we urge you to do the right thing so we can provide answers for Badri’s family.
