BREAKING: Major police scene in Oldham town centre with road taped off - updates
A street in Oldham town centre has been closed due to a 'police incident'. Emergency services were scrambled to Yorkshire Street earlier this morning (Sunday May 8).
The road is closed between St Mary's Way and Horsedge Street, following the incident around 8am. Photographs from the scene show police, firefighters and the ambulance service all in attendance.
An update on traffic monitoring website Inrix reads: "Yorkshire Street. One Way Street closed due to police incident between St Mary's Way and Horsedge Street."
