BREAKING: Major delays to Metrolink services after crash between car and tram - latest updates
There are currently major delays to Metrolink services following a crash between a car and a tram in Oldham.
Union Street has been sealed off in both directions between Waterloo Street and Greaves Street this morning following the collision, according to live traffic network INRIX. Due to the incident, there are no trams running between Rochdale Town Centre and Freehold and tickets are being accepted on several bus services.
No further details about the nature of the crash, or if anyone has been injured have been released at this stage. Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.

In a tweet, Metrolink said: "Due to a road traffic collision There are no services operating between Rochdale Town Centre and Freehold. Services are operating Freehold to East Didsbury.
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused to your journey today. Tickets and passes are being accepted on the 59, 81, 83, 181 & 182 bus service."
