BREAKING: Police tape off Market Street in Manchester city centre following incident - latest updates
Police are investigating an incident in the city centre following an 'altercation' in the early hours. Forensics are currently on the scene on Market Street.
Pictures from the scene, outside the new Tim Horton's shop, show a blue and white tent in the centre of a cordon.
It is understood that officers were called to reports of an altercation between 'ten males' at around 3.30am this morning. A man, in his 20s, was reportedly stabbed during the incident.

Their condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Enquiries are currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Shortly before 3am today (18 June) a man in his 20s was pursued by a group of males and was stabbed on Market Street in Manchester city centre.
"He is currently in hospital being treated for stab wounds to his legs that aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made but enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders."
