An air ambulance and police are at the scene of an ongoing incident in Salford.
Emergency services are on Langworthy Road in Salford this afternoon (June 8). An air ambulance has been seen flying overhead following the incident.
There are currently unconfirmed reports of a collision with a police cordon in place near Langworthy Road. Witnesses reported hearing 'lots of sirens' near the precinct.

Police and paramedics remain on the scene on Langworthy Road this afternoon.
The road is blocked off near the One Stop convenience store and Langworthy Medical Practise.
We are awaiting confirmation from the police on this ongoing incident.
A post shared by Langworthy Medical Practice said: "Due to an accident, Langworthy Road is currently closed. If attending the practice for an appointment this afternoon please use an alternative route."
There are reports that a person was treated at the scene by paramedics.

A witness at the scene told the M.E.N this afternoon: "Helicopter and police are hovering over Salford Precinct. Lots of sirens can be heard, it's been happening for about 20 minutes.
"There are large amounts of police on Langworthy Road and a cordon in place."
