BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse goes live with new WTCR livery reveal

BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse has revealed its new WTCR livery to the world with a live unveiling earlier today (Friday). Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing’s representative in the 2022 WTCR − FIA World Touring Car Cup used an online launch close to its headquarters in Cherasco, northern Italy, to show the striking design that will flank its pair of Goodyear-equipped Hyundai Elantra N TCR cars in 2022.

BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse Team Principal Gabriele Rizzo and drivers Mikel Azcona and Norbert Michelisz were joined by Hyundai Motorsport Deputy Team Principal Julien Moncet and Hyundai Motosport Customer Racing Manager Andrea Cisotti during the live event at Palazzo Salmatoris in the centre of Cherasco. Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing said, “the design for the 2022 season carries the familiar red, dark blue and performance blue colours of Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing”.

Live launch continues busy period for BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse Team’s live launch came at a busy time for the multiple WTCR title-winning squad. Since Mikel Azcona and Norbert Michelisz were unveiled as Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing drivers for WTCR 2022 in February, the outfit has tested at several European tracks as it ramps up its preparations for the new season, while also giving new recruit Azcona the opportunity to master the Hyundai Elantra N TCR.

“The tests are going very well and there are some more planned for the next weeks,” said BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse Team Principal Gabriele Rizzo. “As usual great results during the season come with good preparation and this year is more important than ever because we have a new driver, Mikel, joining the team.
