Boy, 13, taken to hospital after crash involving two vehicles and pedestrians - live updates
Emergency services are in attendance at a road traffic collision which has resulted in a 13-year-old being hospitalised. The incident along St Martins Road in Caerphilly took place at around 2.40pm this afternoon.
Police and the ambulance service attended the scene following the incident which involved a car, a van and pedestrians. The road is currently closed and the incident is ongoing. The 13-year-old who was taken to hospital was a pedestrian.
A statement from Gwent Police read: "We received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car, a van and pedestrians on St Martins Road, Caerphilly at around 2.40pm on Friday, March 31. Officers attended along with personnel from the Welsh Ambulance Service. A 13-year-old boy has been taken to hospital for treatment. The road is currently closed and the incident is ongoing."
