Generally dealt with what the Shrimps threw at him but was perhaps caught out by Johnston's short pass for opening goal. Little to do after the break.

Individual defending decent enough but distribution from the back could have been better at times.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 7

Wanderers skipper kept Cole Stockton and Dylan Connolly quiet in one v one encounters in the first half. Perhaps fortunate not to give away a penalty on the latter after the break.

George Johnston - 6

Had been having a decent game up until big error with short pass to help gift Morecambe the opener. Looked nervous on the ball for a time after that.

Marlon Fossey - 7

Some dangerous low crosses early on from the Fulham loanee on the right flank, but faded as the game wore on.

MJ Williams - 6.5

Generally did well in possession in the middle of the park in the first half, but looked off the pace after the break. Taken off after 65 minutes for Sadlier.

Aaron Morley - 7.5

Some lovely defence splitting passes at times from the January acquisition. Looked bright throughout and tried to make things happen.

Operated in number 10 role again and showed some nice spells on the ball but only flashes of quality against a Shrimps defence which stayed watertight. Taken off before the end.

Dion Charles - 6.5

Saw great early chance go wide which he would normally take and then rattled crossbar before half-time. Kept going throughout despite a couple of missed chances.

Amadou Bakayoko - 6

Came into the team for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and nearly scored opening goal after getting toe to John's cross. Worked hard but
