Bolton Wanderers player ratings vs AFC Wimbledon - Bodvarsson, Morley and Charles impress

James Trafford - 7

Little to do in the first half as the visitors did not offer much going forward. Did not have much to do after the break either but did what he had to when called upon. Another clean sheet picked up.

Gethin Jones - 7.5

Got forward to support attacks on the right flank with Fossey where he could and was sound as ever defensively apart from one instance in second half which Dempsey quickly dealt with.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 8

Kept Sam Cosgrove relatively quiet through the middle and generally made the correct decisions in possession. Nearly got first goal with header.

George Johnston - 7.5

Went long when needed, like Jones, to try and slip team mates into the channels. Made some decent interceptions as usual and rarely troubled by Dons forward line.

Marlon Fossey - 7.5

Got forward well but did not quite have the same success with crosses in terms of end product in the first half, but had so much more joy after the break.

Kyle Dempsey - 8

Selected in midfield duo again and looked bright on the ball, as well as went close to opening his Bolton goalscoring account in the first half. An encouraging performance and was taken off before the end.

Aaron Morley - 8.5

Long passing a joy to behold at times from former Rochdale man and put in dangerous corner for Bodvarsson to put Bolton ahead from. A threat with set piece deliveries.

Declan John - 7.5

Solid defensively and contributed to attacks where possible as system change continues to see his game florish in the final third.

Dapo Afolayan - 8

Lined up in the number 10 role and had his moments in the game, in the first half. Looked more vibrant after the break and topped it off with goal in solid afternoon's performance.

Dion Charles - 8.5

Hard working shift
