Bolton Wanderers' contracted squad in full and expiry date of every single deal

Bolton Wanderers released a total of eight players from the squad recently following the conclusion of the League One season in preparation for the 2022/23 campaign.

Wanderers finished ninth in the third tier of English football recently and are now busy preparing for the new season which kicks off at the end of July. The squad is due to return for pre-season training in the middle of June.

Eight players were released after their deals at the club come to a conclusion this summer. Defenders Alex Baptiste and Liam Gordon, as well as midfielder Andrew Tutte and attacker Nathan Delfouneso are among those to leave Wanderers.

Loanees Xavier Amaechi, Marlon Fossey and James Trafford have returned to parent clubs Hamburg, Fulham and Manchester City. Though it has been confirmed Amaechi will not return, Wanderers are keen to have Fossey and Trafford back at the club for the new campaign.

Wanderers have also started their summer recruitment already with the signing of defender Jack Iredale on a free transfer from Cambridge United. He turned down the offer of a fresh deal at the U's and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Wanderers.

So following the retained list being announced and Iredale arriving, here's a round-up of the contract expiry dates of all the senior players on the books at Wanderers and in every department of the squad.

Luke Hutchinson has had his contract extended, but the length has not been disclosed.
