What happened to Arthur Gnahoua and the nine others who left Bolton Wanderers last summer

Bolton Wanderers bid farewell to a total of eight players including several first team stars this summer.

Andrew Tutte and Alex Baptiste have not had their playing contracts at Wanderers renewed. Liam Gordon, Nathan Delfouneso, Reiss Greenidge, Liam Edwards, Matty Alexander and Jay Fitzmartin have all been released too.

Young defender Adam Senior has been offered a fresh contract to extend his time at the club where he has come through the youth team ranks. The summer recruitment is already under way with the acquisition of defender Jack Iredale on a free transfer from Cambridge United.

The Whites are due to return for pre-season training on June 17, before jetting out to Portugal for a training camp a few days later on June 19. Wanderers boss Evatt hopes to have the squad fundamentally in place by the start of pre-season in terms of getting their transfer window business done early, with the new League One season kicking off at the end of July.

Ryan Delaney

Delaney joined Wanderers in January 2020 and had been in talks to extend his time with the club last summer. However, he ultimately ended up moving on to pastures new and headed to fellow League One side Morecambe.

The Irish defender turned out 15 times for the Shrimps before moving out on loan to Scunthorpe United and reuniting with his former Wanderers and Rochdale manager Keith Hill. The defender played 18 times
