Bolton Wanderers 2022/23 squad numbers announced & ones future new signings could take

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed their squad numbers for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

Jack Iredale, the club's only permanent signing so far this summer, has taken the number 14 shirt. It was donned last season by Hamburg loanee Xavier Amaechi during his campaign at Wanderers.

Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford takes the number 19 number, which he took last season too after arriving in January for the second half of the campaign. Fellow stopper Joel Dixon keeps the 12 squad number, meaning the number one jersey remains vacant.

Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley has taken the number 21 shirt. It was last worn by Harry Brockbank, who departed the club in January.

In terms squad number changes, Kieran Sadlier has changed from the number 22 to take the seven shirt last worn by Nathan Delfouneso. The former Aston Villa youth product moved to Bradford City on loan in January before departing Wanderers this summer.

Kyle Dempsey, who wore the number 32 after arriving in January, has switched to the 22 left by Sadlier's switch. In terms of squad numbers which are vacant, these include the 13 last worn by Marlon Fossey and the 18 that Andrew Tutte has vacated after moving to a player-coach role for the club's B team.

Squad numbers including 26 and over remain vacant too for any further signings made this summer.
