Bojan Miovski won't seal Celtic transfer for silly money as pundits agree Aberdeen star is 'overpriced'

If Celtic are to make a move for Bojan Miovski, it won't be for "silly money" - and £4.5million is too much for the North Macedonian.

That's according to Andy Walker and Barry Ferguson, who reckon the Aberdeen striker could be the answer to Brendan Rodgers' impending striker shortage. The Hoops boss is set to lose Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Oh on Asian Cup duty and he's admitted he'll need to bring in striking reinforcements. Walker reckons Miovski ticks a few boxes for his former club. But he suspects they won't break the bank to try and land him. I can see Celtic coming in for him but I don't think he'll go for silly money though."

A fee of £4.5million to get Aberdeen talking over Miovski's exit has been floated. He still has two-and-a-half years left on his Pittodrie deal, putting the reds in a strong position. Ferguson is also a fan of the striker, but doesn't believe that sort of money wold represent good value for Celtic.

He added: "He misses chances but it never seems to affect him. He might miss one or two but gets in positions to take the next one. I think
