Bojan Miovski makes instant Aberdeen impact amid fresh Christian Ramirez transfer claim

Bojan Miovski has made an immediate impact to life at Aberdeen. The Dons new recruit got off the mark by opening the scoring during the Dons 1-1 draw with St Johnstone in a pre-season friendly on Friday morning.

Theo Blair bagged the equaliser for Callum Davidson's men as the Scottish Premiership rivals basked in the Spanish sunshine. Miovski's talents have already been praised by Jim Goodwin as well as former boss MTK Budapest's Giovanni Constanino who believes the 23-year-old has the complete potential to become an English Premier League player in the future.

The North Macedonian international comes to Pittodrie after finding the net 10 times in 31 appearances last season in Budapest but it wasn't enough to prevent relegation to the Hungarian second tier. He also won the flick on that lead Aleksandar Trajkowski to score as his country beat Italy in a World Cup playoff earlier this year.

Miovski has made it clear he wants to be the man to lead the line next season and that comes after reports confirmed Christian Ramirez is keen for a move back to the USA - a year after joining from Houston Dymano. Ramirez was afforded a longer summer break despite the Dons suffering their worst league finish since 2004 last campaign but has yet to net in a competitive game under Goodwin.

And with the Major League Soccer transfer window opening on July 7, there is every chance clubs could come in for the two time USA international. Ramirez scored 15 goals whilst providing a further four assists last season. Dons legend Joe Harper even reckons it's time to let Ramirez go if his minds not in Scotland.

He told the Press and Journal : "The news the Dons will listen to offers for the striker does not surprise me one bit. His family are
