Birmingham City will be assessing their current squad to see what is needed in the upcoming summer transfer window. That will give the club a chance to make some new signings, while some players could also be leaving.

Blues added one permanent player to their squad in the January transfer window when Juninho Bacuna arrived from Rangers. Four joined Blues last summer, although while Ryan Woods, Jordan Graham and Troy Deeney remain, Chuks Aneke has already departed.

Technical director Craig Gardner is working with head coach Lee Bowyer to develop a squad that has struggled both stylistically and in results for the last few years. And there’s more housekeeping to tend to in the summer.

Former Birmingham City goalkeeper Lee Camp has signed a short-term deal with National League side Wrexham AFC.

Camp joins Phil Parkinson's squad for the remainder of the season following a brief spell at Northern Premier League side Clitheroe. He will provide cover to first-choice keeper Rob Lainton after his injury has ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.

Wrexham are currently fourth in the league and on course to push for promotion to League Two. The 37-year-old, who played for Blues between 2018 and 2020, will wear number 23 during his time in North Wales.
