Bin Suroor's White Wolf aiming to have bookies howling in the Dante
Godolphin trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has seen enough of White Wolf on the gallops to have confidence in a crack at the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dante Stakes at York on Thursday, May 12.
Invincible Spirit colt White Wolf won on debut at Southwell but did it with signs of greenness yet did get the job done in a fashion which suggests there may be more to come.
Running keenly in patches and hanging left, White Wolf did prove he had the winning instinct, holding on gamely to see off Hughie Morrison's Bearaway over a mile on the all-weather.
It's quite a step up from a Class 5 novice stakes at Southwell to the Group 2 Dante at York and his latest challenge will see a move up to one mile, two and a half furlongs on the Knavesmire.
