Big boost: Ange drops early team news clue that’ll have Celtic supporters thrilled - opinion

Celtic managed to go six points clear at the top of the Premiership table last weekend after securing a 2-1 victory in the latest Old Firm derby.

The Hoops now find themselves back at Parkhead this afternoon with a clash against St Johnstone for their latest league outing.

Heading into today’s clash, it seems as though an early piece of team news has emerged which will surely have a lot of Hoops supporters rubbing their hands together in excitement.

Since arriving at Parkhead from Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe last summer, the 27-year-old has made 26 appearances for the Hoops across all competitions. In that time, the attacker has scored 16 goals and provided five assists along the way.

His overall performances have earned the summer recruit a season rating of 7.14/10 from WhoScored, making him the sixth-highest rated player currently in Postecoglou’s squad.

With St Johnstone only conceding two goals in their past four league games, it may take someone of Furuhashi’s attacking
