Bernardo Silva price tag 'emerges' for Barcelona and other Man City transfer rumours

Manchester City have put a price of around £75m on Portuguese star Bernardo Silva, according to reports.

The 28-year-old has been at City since the summer of 2017 after he joined from French side Monaco. In that time, he has won four Premier League titles, the FA Cup, and a quartet of League Cups.

He is under contract at City until the summer of 2025. It means Pep Guardiola's outfit are under no immediate pressure to sell the star, but have shown in the past with the likes of Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko they are willing to part company with players should they receive a reasonable fee and sell them on for a potential profit.

But according to 90min, City have slapped a price tag of around £75m on Silva, which is said to be his current market rate if they were to cash in on the midfielder. Barcelona and PSG are two sides credited with interest in the Portugal international.

The reports notes the La Liga side are long-term admirers of Silva and that he would be open to moving to the Camp Nou. The player was said to be keen to move on last summer, and Barca returned for him in January, but to no avail.

Elsewhere, City could hand defender Nathan Ake a new contract to extend his time at the Etihad Stadium. According to the National News, the Dutch international could be rewarded after his rise to prominence at City this campaign.
