Ben Doak to Liverpool hint as Celtic star keeps close tabs on English giants
Precocious Celtic talent Ben Doak has offered another hint about his long-term future after following Liverpool's social media accounts on Instagram.
The 16-year-old is the jewel in the crown of the Hoops' academy but has been linked with the Premier League giants for several weeks, with reports claiming Jurgen Klopp 's side are closing in on the switch.
The Reds' interest would've been raised a notch following Doak's scintillating showing for Scotland Under-17s this week and it seems the teenager is also keeping a close eye on the Anfield side.
Several Celtic fans have pointed out that Doak 's personal Instagram account has recently followed not only Liverpool's verified account but also the Liverpool Academy's profile.
Doak, who only turned 16 in November, has already forced his way into the first-team reckoning at Parkhead and was even handed a late cameo in Celtic's 3-0 victory over arch rivals Rangers in February.
If Doak does indeed make the move down south, his current side would only be due a nominal six-figure compensation fee for his development as a youth player.
