Beautician boasted she helped sister get 'wedding ready' days after they attacked elderly couple

A beautician who attacked an elderly couple proudly boasted that she helped make her sister 'wedding ready' days after the incident. Siblings Julia and Jessica Shelley were sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday (December 12) after they were involved in a 'tussle' that left a frail old man with permanent scars.

In what was a bizarre incident, bride-to-be Julia and her younger sister Jessica attacked the elderly couple in their own home in a dispute over a wedding dress. Julia had asked seamstress and family friend, Maureen Webb, 79, to make alterations to her dress.

However, disaster struck when Julia and Jessica went to Ms Webb's home, where she ran her business, with complaints over the 'needle work' on the dress. The pair went to Maureen's sewing room and a 'tussle' broke out which left Maureen's husband, Robert, with lifelong injuries to his arm.

The post was shared just days after the incident involving the wedding dress on August 10, which left Robert Webb in hospital with "appalling
