BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers complain 'again' with one-word response to Annabel Croft's 'emotional' Wicked routine

There was a common one-word theme as Strictly Come Dancing viewers gave their thoughts on Annabel Croft's latest 'emotional' routine in the ballroom. The former tennis ace continued her journey in the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (December 2) alongside Johannes Radebe.

They were among the four remaining couples to perform in the quarter-finals' Musicals week special after major changes had to be made following Nigel Harman's sudden exit from the competition. The actor and his professional dance partner Katya Jones had to withdraw from Strictly 2023 as he sustained a rib injury that left him in A&E.

As a result, no elimination will take place this weekend with the couples still performing for the judges scores which will be carried over to next weekend's semi-finals when two dances stand between each couple and making it to the final and potentially lifting the Glitterball trophy.

But back to Annabel and performing second on the night, she and Johannes sensitively danced a foxtrot to the track For Good from the musical Wicked. The sportswoman donned a black dress with a sparkly top and flowing skirt while painted green to transform into the Wicked Witch Of The West for the dance.

Their routine, which saw her glide across the dancefloor before exiting off by herself with a suitcase, garnered them a score of 33. Anton Du Beke said her frame was "the best in the whole competition" and said the performance reflected their relationship "perfectly".
