BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Motsi Mabuse says 'it was one hell of a ride' as she shares behind scenes pictures

BBC's Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has thanked her family, friends and fans for their support after a 'hell of a ride.' Admitting 2023 has been a challenge, the professional dancer told her Instagram followers she is more 'grateful than ever.'

Motsi has been a judge on the dancing show since 2019. And this year saw her return to the judging panel, alongside Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood.

The weekend saw Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and her professional dancing partner Vito Copolla become the winners of this year's competition. And as the fans, contestants and judges are on the come down from the excitement of the weekend's final, Motsi took the time to post a message to her Instagram followers, sharing some glamourous pictures of her time on the show.

Her latest message to fans on her Instagram reads: "It always takes a few hours , a few days and sometimes weeks ,to reflect and just realize it’s over done . 2023 challenged me in more ways than one but I come out of it being more grateful than ever , grateful for the close people in my life that stood and supported especially my husband @evgenij_voznyuk who is my light in every situation. My mom , my auntie Lena , my mother in law who support in every with our girl. Thank you to my management teams Germany & Uk for protecting , listening and making 2023 amazing because you believe in me .
