BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola declares love for 'baby' Ellie Leach as fans go wild for reunion

Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola has put concerns about whether his friendship with Ellie Leach has continued beyond the dancefloor to bed as he shared his love following their reunion.

The Italian dancer and the actress emerged victorious in the BBC One dance contest last year. Ellie and Vito were crowned winners of the 2023 series and lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy during the Strictly final in December - making Ellie the competition's youngest-ever winner at 22.

They went their separate ways for Christmas and New Year as Vito headed back to Italy where he documented working back on his family's farm while Ellie relaxed back in Manchester with her loved ones.

The pair were eventually reunited earlier this year for the three week Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour. There were then emotional scenes last month when Ellie and Vito once again went their separate ways again with Ellie heading straight onto her next job, making her stage debut as Miss Scarlett in the play Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter.

Fans were delighted last week when Vito and his Strictly co-star Dianne Buswell headed on a night out together on Tuesday night (March 19) alongside her boyfriend Joe Sugg. After dinner and drinks, they headed to the Theatre Royal Brighton where Ellie was on stage in the new play, which marks the former Coronation Street star's stage debut.
