BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Rose Ayling-Ellis delights fans with family baby news as she says 'officially'

Former Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has delighted fans as she shared baby news telling them 'officially'. The actress, who won the BBC One dance contest in 2021 with Giovanni Pernice, took to social media with a picture-filled update on her life.

Rose, who shot to fame in EastEnders as Frankie Carter, shared a string of photos to Instagram with the caption: "Lately…" before explaining each picture in turn. It started by showing the former soap star smiling for the camera after a trip to the florist with flowers filing her arms and a hanging basked in her hand.

Another pictures showed her taking a mirror selfie, seemingly at work, as she had her hair and makeup done before she appeared to confirm she was wokring on a filming project by standing outside a trailer while appearing to keep warm and cosy in the less-than-sunny weather.

There when then pictures of food, trips to the theatre and even an old snap as she contemplated a new do. But amongst it all, Rose excitedly revealed she had become an auntie alongside a sweet baby snap of a newborn, whose face wasn't shown, sporting an animal-printed babygrow.

The rest of the caption of her post read: "1) Plants/Flowers addiction. 2) Spring is here. Nearly. 3) Favourite time of the morning. 4) Bananagram on the train (‘Lieutenant’ blew our mind. Rose’s famous interpreter is the winner). 5) Trailer for life. 6) Officially Auntie Rose.
