BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks makes 'today is the day' announcement with Zara McDermott support

Pete Wicks told fans 'today is the day' as he announced a major career move. The incoming Strictly Come Dancing contestant isn't just focusing on his ballroom debut as he has a few projects in the pipeline.

One of them is his book, Never Enough: My Words Unfiltered, which was released on Thursday (September 5). Taking to Instagram, Pete marked publication day with a picture of the book as well as pictures of his hilarious attempts to promote it with his management team.

"Today is the day…MY BOOK 'Never Enough' is out NOW!" the TV star and podcast host announced. He continued: "It’s incredibly personal to me and as much as it’s partly some of my story, the whole point of me doing this was to make it relatable to people.

"It covers suicide, grief, mental health and a whole host of emotions…we all have them, we all struggle and we all need to understand that it’s ok. Life is a f**king rollercoaster and sometimes it’s just about trying to ensure you get through each day but amongst the sh*t there are magical, beautiful moments, understanding yourself will help you find them."
