BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse details 'whirlwind' first with daughter amid emotional 'wish' over her family

Oti Mabuse has detailed a 'whirlwind' first with her daughter as she made an emotional 'wish' about her family. The former Strictly Come Dancing star shares her one-year-old daughter with her husband Marius.

Oti announced she and Marius had become first-time parents on Christmas Day 2023. At the time, they took to Instagram with an adorable photo in which they wore matching festive pyjamas as they gazed lovingly at their baby girl and were joined by their beloved pet dog, Leo.

It wasn't until later that the Dancing On Ice judge revealed how their daughter, whose name hasn't been shared publicly, had actually born prematurely in November 2023, nearly two months earlier than expected, with Oti's waters unexpectedly breaking while she was out shopping with Marius.

The couple have since come a long way with their little girl, celebrating her first birthday last year and now marking her first week at nursery. Taking to Instagram, Oti shared a video in which she could be seen getting ready for the day ahead before enjoying some wholesome cuddles with her little one.

Captioning the post, the mum-of-one wrote; "First week of nursery [tick emoji]. What a whirlwind!She absolutely loved it—running around, making new friends, and picking up so many new words already! Meanwhile, I’m over here realizing how much life has changed. I used to wake up and only prep me, now it’s all about getting us both out the door (how do parents do this so seamlessly?!).
