BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Nancy Xu says 'that's us' as she's supported over gushing tribute
Nancy Xu has been flooded with messages of love and support as she marked the end of her latest Strictly Come Dancing journey. The professional dancer has been part of the hit show since 2019.
During the most recent run of the BBC One dance contest, Nancy was paired with Manchester's own Shayne Ward. As fans saw, they were were the seventh couple to leave the competition during the 2024 series.
And actor and singer Shayne's exit from the competition sparked a huge upset among viewers of the long-running show as it was a split decision that resulted in head judge Shirley Ballas deciding who stayed and who left.
But, it wasn't the end of Shayne and Nancy's journey together as they both signed up to the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Live Tour which meant their partnership continued into the new year.
After kicking off earlier in January, the tour finally arrived in Manchester with a number of performances at the AO Arena earlier this month and, taking to Instagram, Shayne could be seen taking stock of the empty arena before performing to the thousands in attendance, including his wife Sophie Austin and their daughter, Willow.
Since then, on Sunday (February 9), the tour has come to an end and Nancy shared a message on social media. Sharing a video of herself and Shayne as they exitedley appeared in front of the camera in a busy arena, the dancer said: "That is US!!
"A dear friend of mine always says that life is about making memories—and I couldn’t agree more. I am deeply grateful for all the beautiful experiences we have shared together. Strictly is extraordinary in so many ways, but for someone like me, words can never fully express how thankful I am for the love and support I have received.
"My dearest Shayne, thank you
