BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara speaks out over 'concern' for baby as she's told to 'ignore' the 'perfect mothers'

Janette Manrara has thanked fans for their 'concern' as they responded to comments she received after sharing an adorable snap of her baby daughter. The Strictly Come Dancing star took to social media to innocently share a picture of five-month-old Lyra Rose.

Janette and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec welcomed their first child into the world back in July. The couple announced their daughter's arrival on July 29 in a social media post shared on both of their Instagram pages featuring the first adorable photo of the new family of three.

It featured a black and white photo in which Janette could be seen cradling the newborn in her hospital bed as Aljaz leaned over them while beaming for the camera. The pair had revealed that their little girl made her entrance into the world a day earlier, on July 28.

The proud parents have seen been sharing regular updates on their life now they have little Lyra, who recently accompanied them on the road as they toured the country with their Christmas dance show, Dancing in a Winter Wonderland.

And Janette, 40, continued the updates earlier this week by simply sharing a photo of a very cosy-looking Lyra as she sat in her car seat ready for her latest trip while sporting a fluffy baby suit. The mum-of-one captioned the sweet snap: "Lyra yesterday out and about... Blue Monday."
