BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach reunites with Coronation Street co-stars in career move after dancing success

Ellie Leach is set to reunite with her Coronation Street co-stars as she takes her career in a slightly different direction following her Strictly Come Dancing success. The actress emerged victorious in the BBC One dance contest back in December alongside dancer Vito Coppola.

After 12 weeks of learning how to dance with her professional dance partner Vito Coppola, Ellie, 22, made it through to the final where she and Vito, 31, went up against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell with all three couples made it to the end of the 2023 run of the competition and to be in with a chance of winning.

In the end it was former Corrie star Ellie and Italian professional dancer Vito who had emerged victorious following the public vote and the pair also made history as Ellie, at the age of 22, is now the youngest-ever winner of the hit dance competition.

The Daily Star reports that Ellie will be joined by her former co-star and real life cousin Brooke Vincent, who played Sophie Webster, as well as Lucy Fallon, who recently returned to the show as Bethany Platt, for new reality show Drama Queens.

The ITVBe show, which was announced earlier this month, will give fans a look into the real lives of several popular soap stars, as they juggle their busy filming schedules with photo shoots, award ceremonies and their family lives.
