BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland reveals nickname for Dianne Buswell before 'surprise'
Chris McCausland has revealed his nickname for Dianne Buswell which led to an unexpected 'surprise' away from Strictly Come Dancing. The pair have spent the past week preparing for the next appearance in the show's famous ballroom.
They made it through to week 11 of the BBC One dance contest - which marks the quarter final stage of the competition and takes place live on Saturday night (November 30).
Dianne and Chris took to the floor with their Paso Doble to El Gato Montes by Manuel Panella which they performed their routine to mixed reviews from the judges, landing a them a score of 33 out of a possible 40.

It was then during Sunday night's (November 24) results show that Chris and Dianne's fate in the competition was confirmed as it was revealed the pair have made it through to the quarter-finals of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series, which will be the show's annual Musicals Week, in which they'll perform a Quickstep to You’re The Top from Anything Goes.
Amidst his work on the hit dance show, Chris recently took some time out to appear on The Graham Norton show to chat about Strictly as well as his other big projects away from the hit dance show.
Writing in his weekly Telegraph column, Chris said: "Last weekend I also got to live out an ambition and be a guest on Graham Norton’s show. I was promoting my stand-up tour and also a film I’ve made with Lee Mack. Bad Tidings is a comedy for the whole family, airing on Sky this Christmas, and it was lovely to step away from Strictly for a few hours and back into the comfy shoes of just being a comedian.
