BBC Strictly Come Dancing pro says star 'shouldn’t be in the competition' as final nears

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Ola Jordan has said one star 'shouldn't be in the competition' as the BBC dance contest heats up. With the Strictly final now just weeks away, the remaining couples are now battling it out with the hopes of taking home the Glitterball trophy.

Last week, the celebrities and their professional dance partners took to the Blackpool ballroom in a bid to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas.

Following the dance-off, it was opera singer Wynne and his pro partner Katya who lost their place in competition after going up against Montell and Johannes.

Despite finding himself at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 27 from the judges, including a 4 from Craig, reality TV star and podcast host Pete Wicks remains in the competition and will dance again for the 10th week.

But it appears that the former TOWIE star is the bookies’ current favourite to leave this weekend, and former Strictly winner Ola Jordan agrees - but she also thinks Jamie is at risk.

Speaking to Mecca Bingo, Ola said: "I think Pete and Jamie will be in the bottom two. I think Pete’s tango isn’t going to be bad, but I think people are realising now that he shouldn’t be in the competition anymore. Jamie’s got the Foxtrot – Foxtrot is very technical, and he might struggle with that.”

“I think JB will be safe this weekend. He’s got Charleston, so I think it’s going to be a really good and fun dance. Then you’ve got Montell doing the Quickstep, and because Montell was in the bottom two last week, I don’t think she’ll be in the bottom two this week.”
