Strictly Come Dancing fans have said 'sorry as they made a complaint over an Ellie Leach update ahead of the semi-final. The former Coronation Street star has made it to the penultimate week of the BBC One dance contest this year.
Ellie, known for playing Faye Windass in the ITV soap for 12 years, and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola were seen back in the ballroom on Saturday night which wasn't just the quarter-finals but also the Musicals week special.
The actress and the Italian professional dancer performed a quickstep to the song Belle from Beauty And The Beast. Dressed as the Disney princess in a blue and white dress, Ellie glided and twirled across the room with her dance partner Vito Coppola, who donned a Gaston costume with a bellowing white shirt and red waistcoat.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said the narrative she told throughout the performance was "off the charts". She added: "You did a wonderful job of opening the show, well done." Anton Du Beke also praised her as the "Belle of the ball", before adding that he "absolutely loved" the routine.
Ellie and Vito secured a score of 36 which at the end of the show left them in second place on the leaderboard behind Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin who scored the first perfect score of the 2023 series.
But the leader board didn't matter too much over the weekend as all of the four remaining couples automatically made it through to the semi-final after Nigel Harman had to pull out of the show and the rest of the series at the eleventh hour due to suffering a
