BBC Strictly Come Dancing Amy Dowden's fans 'love her more' as she unites with famous face in emotional evening
Amy Dowden has been told by fans that they 'love her more' than they did before as she proved to be a fan of one particular girl group which has been taking the country by storm during their first tour in more than a decade.
The Strictly Come Dancing star shared an update as she headed to see Girls Aloud in Birmingham on Tuesday night (June 18) as they near the end of their epic Girls Aloud Show tour that has seen Nicola Roberts, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle take a nostalgic trip up and down the country.
The girl group have been back performing in arenas in front of their adoring fans after deciding to hit the road in celebration of more than 20 years since they first burst onto the scene, winning Popstars: The Rivals, as well as paying tribute to their beloved bandmate and friend Sarah Harding following her death in 2021 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

And Sarah's story is close to Amy's heart as the dancer was diagnosed herself last year with breast cancer. She first found a lump in her breast the day before going to the Maldives on her honeymoon with fellow professional dancer Ben Jones and was subsequently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
Amy has since finished chemotherapy and tests show she has "no evidence of disease" but said she won't receive the 'all clear' for five years. It was also announced that she will rejoin the cast of professional dancers on Strictly for the upcoming 2024 series after missing out last year while she had treatment.
