BBC Radio Manchester star sparks calls for him to join Strictly Come Dancing line-up for 2023

He's used to causing a stir when he he hits the town in Manchester in his array of showstopping outfits, and singer and radio presenter Jsky now has his eye on the Strictly dancefloor. BBC Radio Manchester's Jsky, real name Jason Warner, has had fans calling for him to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing line-up 2023.

Jsky, the host of the station's Dead Good Show, sent his followers into a frenzy when he recently shared a snap of himself with the BBC dance show's former pro dancer Aljaž Škorjanec at the Pride of Manchester awards. Jsky, who was a judge at the annual awards celebrating the achievements of astonishing Mancunians, wowed in shimmering metallic mini-dress of stars.

"When they ask, what would you wear if you ever did #strictly... #tensacrosstheboard @prideofbritain @bbcstrictly," he Instagrammed.

Jsky, who in 2019 was one of the body positive influencers wearing body paint to cover their modesty on the groundbreaking Channel Four reality show Naked Beach, received the thumbs-up from the show's body paint artist Emma Cammack who declared: "I would DIE to see you on Strictly!!"

Jsky, who helped willing participants to gain the confidence to strip naked in Greece on the show, said: "Maybe if they let me book you to bodypaint me one week, naked beach style." And she replied: "Wouldn’t that be awesome!!!"

Jsky, who also presents on LGBTQ+ station Gaydio, was also told by R.A.B with applause emojis: "You should absolutely do strictly!" Rebecca Hartley applauded: "You never fail to deliver on the outfits! Spectacular! X" And Angela Hall said: "You got the legs."
