BBC Gladiators viewers 'still not sold' as they issue complaint minutes into episode
BBC Gladiators fans issued a complaint minutes into Saturday night's show as the rebooted gameshow returned for its second episode.
The iconic 90s gameshow made its official comeback last week (Saturday January 13), introducing 16 new Gladiators from the next generation. An Elite CrossFit athlete from Manchester, a James Bond actor and two Olympians are among those showing us what they're made of this series.
Made up of 11 episodes, the revival sees Gladiators take on contenders in games old and new, culminating with classic challenge The Eliminator. Viewers felt nostalgic when the show returned to screens last week.

Bradley Walsh and his son Barney are presenting all the action - but some viewers weren't too impressed with the duo. The original Gladiators was presented by Ulrika Jonsson and John Fashanu and fans reckoned there needed to be another female presenter on the show.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans complained just minutes into the episode. @AAngels05 admitted: "Second episode into the Gladiators reboot and I’m still not sold on the presenter choice" as @andresaidwhat reckoned: "There needs to be a female presenter tbh - it's not quite John and Ulrika #Gladiators".
@PhilCoulth22039 said: "As much as I like Bradley Walsh on The Chase... I would love to have seen Laura Woods and Ian Wright be the presenting team for #Gladiators" while @MariaBaird13 asked: "Why isn't there a lady presenter on Gladiators".
