BBC apologises for weather glitch after viewers were told temperatures were plunging to 7C

The BBC has issued an apology for warning viewers about plunging temperatures in their weather forecast across their services, attributing the errors to "technical issues."

In Edinburgh, slightly colder temperatures are forecasted, with highs of 17C and lows of 10C throughout the week.

Cardiff should anticipate temperatures ranging from 13 to 19C for the upcoming
