Bayonne v Scarlets LIVE: TV channel, kick-off time and score updates from Challenge Cup

Wales centre Joe Roberts returns from a long injury lay-off to boost the Scarlets for their EPCR Challenge Cup opener against Bayonne at the Stade Jean-Dauger (1pm).

Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel has made 10 changes from the side which narrowly lost in Glasgow last weekend, with the majority of his Wales contingent rested while veteran number nine Gareth Davies has a minor hip issue. But the Scarlets are boosted by the return of Roberts who forms a potentially formidable midfield partnership with Eddie James. Efan Jones starts at scrum-half with Ioan Lloyd wearing the number 10 jersey.

Wales wing Tom Rogers returns from a calf injury to partner Ellis Mee on the wing, while Ioan Nicholas makes his 100th appearance for the Scarlets from full-back. Up-front Wales squad member Kemsley Mathias starts at loosehead with Shaun Evans coming in at hooker and Sam Wainwright replacing Henry Thomas on the tighthead.

Scotland lock Alex Craig captains the side from the second-row where he is partnered by Jac Price with Jarrod Taylor, Dan Davis and Vaea Fifita making up the back-row. Former Wales U20s scrum-half Archie Hughes is named on the bench having missed the start of the season with an ankle injury.

The Scarlets face a tough task against a Bayonne side who are fifth in the Top 14 table. The game is only watchable on paid-for EPCR TV. You can follow it live below.
