Barry Ferguson predicts FOUR Rangers transfer exits can land £55m windfall in ominous 'money talks' warning

Barry Ferguson is confident Rangers can recoup £55million from player sales this summer if they are forced to sell some of their first-team stars.

Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent are all approaching the final year of their contracts having been key men at Ibrox last term during the run to the Europa League final and the Scottish Cup success. The trio have been mainstays at the club but could leave for nothing next summer and are open to negotiate with other clubs from January.

Calvin Bassey appears to be the jewel in the crown at Rangers with Aston Villa appearing to lead the race for a potential summer signing The versatile defender added to his burgeoning reputation with heroics efforts against Eintracht Frankfurt and Hearts to close out the season, with his star continuing to rise for the Nigeria national side.

Ferguson reckons that sporting director Ross Wilson and boss Gio van Bronckhorst should be pushing to keep all four men at the club long-term. However, he confesses that the club could be forced to sell for the right price.

He told The Go Radio Football Show that Aribo, Kent and Morelos could demand £10million each, while Bassey's starting bid should be at the fee Kieran Tierney left Celtic for - £25million.

Ferguson said: "For me when he (Morelos) is fit, and he is at it, he is a top striker. For me, don't be surprised if he signs an extension, because he is loved at Rangers.

"When you have got him in the right of mind he is a top striker. I think if you ask any team in the Scottish league, or in Europe that Rangers played, they wouldn't have wanted to face him.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Morelos signs, but you just see he is enjoying his football.

"All the guys that are coming into the final
