Barcelona vs Manchester United LIVE highlights and reaction as Marcus Rashford and Raphinha score

Manchester United secured a 2-2 first-leg draw with Barcelona in their Europa League play-off on Thursday evening.

United failed to win their Europa League group and Barcelona finished third in their Champions League group earlier this season, with the two clubs meeting in a play-off round as a result.

United travelled to Barcelona without the injured Donny van de Beek, Christian Eriksen, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay and Antony, but Casemiro returned. United were also without Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer, as both players were suspended.

Erik ten Hag's side fell behind in the second half after Marcos Alonso headed home from close range. It didn't take long for United to equalise as the in-form Marcus Rashford notched his 22nd goal of the season.

The visitors took the lead just before the hour mark as Jules Kounde scored an own-goal, but Ten Hag's men were denied a huge win as Raphinha's cross somehow evaded everyone before finding its way into the corner of the net.

Have your say below.

David de Gea

Made a couple of stops from Robert Lewandowski and Jordi Alba. Could do little about Barcelona's indirect and direct goals from crosses. 6

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Created one of United's best openings but loose at times in defence. A constant presence in attack on another encouraging evening. 7

Raphael Varane

Recovered to deny Lewandowski in the first-half but should have dealt with Raphinha's cross that went all the way in. 6

Could we see a winner?

Wow. Barcelona hit the post. United survive but only just.

A possible handball on Fred but no penalty given.

We could
